Casualties of Homicide Society is a registered, Publicly Funded, Non Profit Organization recognized as a 501(c)3 Charity.
We were formed to fill a void within our local low income communities, in need of economical, emotional, judicial and spiritual support.
Homicide Co-Victims, embracing Co-Victims of Homicide, within 14 days following a death within their immediate family. Our Peer Crisis Sponsors (also Homicide Co-Victims) and local volunteers, provide support on the journey towards healing and justice.
Our team provides compassionate guidance and a listening ear to ease the emotional burden on co-victims.
We foster connections within the community to create a network of understanding and solidarity for co-victims.
Empowering co-victims through workshops and resources to navigate the complexities of grief and healing.
In the Year 2022, Ms. Toni lost her 24 year old son, to a horrific homicide. In the aftermath, she and her family have faced issues that not many have a full understanding of.
Within a year of his untimely death, she would recognize the many families, facing the same challenges, mentally and financially, with minimal judicial advocacy.
Applying her experiences and hope, as a Homicide Co-Victim herself, she began a mission to become a support system for the 100's of Ohio families, who've lost an immediate loved one to homicide.
Casualties of Homicide Society Non Profit Organization is a result of those efforts.
A single homicide affects countless lives and the survivors left behind, known as Homicide Co-Victims, are often overlooked in the aftermath.
